Emerging out of Southern California, Melt mars strips down any frills from their music to deliver a direct, crisp, tune. They are reminiscent of bands like The Strokes and The Smiths while also embracing the Psych ethos of Jimi Hendrix and Khruangbin. Although their sound is ever evolving, the newly discovered sweet spot for Synths and Sampling allows the listener to become enveloped by the contrasting worlds of gritty live rock-n-roll and smooth electronic music.
Melt mars got it first steps as the brainchild of Brian (Singer/Guitar) with the hole-recorded EP "Gimmicks." The project was later joined by his friends Darnell (Bass), Eric (Synth), and John (Drums).
